I moved up to Duluth from the Twin Cities about two weeks before school started so I could explore the city, become acquainted with the campus, and relax before my life became too busy. Duluth, Minnesota is a beautiful area with the view of Lake Superior, parks, and historic architecture. During the last couple weeks, I went on bike rides, hiked trails, tanned at the beach (too cold to swim), shopped at the mall, and visited Canal Park. There is a lot to do in Duluth as it has become a very popular tourist city over the years. I have been told that Duluth is still a pretty place when the snow does fall. I look forward to wearing my warm winter gear!
